We are where we began in my 40's... enjoying life together in Gold Country, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada! We love living here among the gently rolling hills, the nearby forests, lakes, mountains and rivers, in a community of dear friends with music gatherings, festivals, and seasonal events--almost year-round--in a small country town. It's good for the soul! We are both retired; Ah, the Good Life in our fabulous 70's! That meant having more time for everything we have always loved to do. We no longer cared about schedules or clocks. Our time was ours! Four years in, however, we discovered that we needed to supplement our income with side jobs to keep us in the hub of life but the hours were way more relaxed and forgiving, allowing us to continue to enjoy road trips and  gentler time constraints.

We have adopted a new kind of lifestyle since 2017 after we both suffered heart attacks--2014 and 2016, respectively. A mainly Whole Foods, Plant-Based diet (we don't eat dairy, beef, lamb, pork or chicken) is helping us achieve our health goals. We love that our choices are heart-healthy, animal compassionate, and reduce the methane production that is a major contributor to global climate change. We are intent on living well and long... well past our 90's. We hope to share, inspire, and empower you with all the amazing information on good nutrition and the incredible power of plants that we have learned, and continue to learn, from a variety of sources. Prevention is the Key! A Well Body is a whole body... a well-nourished, mentally happy, and healthy body no matter your current conditions. Stay the course and you can enjoy your Golden years virtually pain free and energetic! Whether you are diabetic, have heart, kidney, liver or lung disease, or any other ailments, making good food choices will help you enormously! Eating healthier will even reduce the chronic inflammation in your body whatever its source. You really ARE what you eat.
